BMIOA Founders & Founding Members	The BMIOA concept was developed in 1996 by its Founders and has progressed forward through present date. In 2001, several Founding Members from several countries joined the effort to help establish Standards and organize the concepts. BMIOA Standards Committee	The BMIOA Standards Committee is a group of BMIOA Members volunteering to serve as final decision-makers regarding the implementation of any BMIOA Standard or any program connected with BMIOA Standards.
BM Ostrich Diagnostic Centre	Having problems with your birds? This well-organized Ostrich Diagnostic section may give you some hints as to the cause of the problem. The Diagnostic Centre is intended for use by BMIOA member Veterinarians, Farmers and Industry people working directly with the raising of Ostrich to aid in solving bird, egg and production problems. This section is an added feature of your BMIOA Membership.
Member Request for Technical Assistance	This is a direct access link to Daryl Holle of Blue Mountain requesting his technical assistance on any Ostrich production difficulties concerning bird problems, nutritional evaluations, feeding management, farm management and chick raising difficulties. The first two hours are FREE to BMIOA members as a special membership service.
BMIOA Member "For Sale" Items	This is a free service to BMIOA Members where they can list any Ostrich items "For Sale" or Trade. All members can check this page for the latest offerings by other members.
BMIOA Chat List	The BMIOA Chat List is a private internet chat list for BMIOA members only. All members receive copies of all messages posted to the chat list and any member can post messages to the chat list for the sale of eggs, birds, meat, skins, equipment, services, etc. BMIOA also uses the list for the latest updates, notices and member communications. BMIOA "New Ostrich Industry"	BMIOA has established the criteria for raising quality breeder birds through proper feeding and management. BMIOA has also established a system of "Nutritional Classification" rating that can predict the degree of potential genetic performance.
BMIOA Research Projects	As funds become available, BMIOA is constantly working on special research projects, both scientific & practical, that allow the industry to progress in a viable manner. BMIOA Product Standards	BMIOA establishes Standards for its membership to produce birds, meat, skin and egg products in a consistent manner world-wide so that consumers know what to expect from a product produced using BMIOA Standards.

BMIOA Branded Products	BMIOA has "Branded Product" labels and product specs available for use by approved BMIOA members. BMIOA Member Status Check	An on-line request form for public use to verify the membership and Certification status of a BMIOA member that you are considering doing business with. This service is an important function of the BMIOA to verify that people are who they say they are and at the BMIOA Certification level they claim to be. No personal information is given out in this request, only a status report to support or deny the claims made by the BMIOA member.
