There are 3 types of Memberships available in the Blue Mountain International Ostrich Alliance:

HONORARY FARMER MEMBERSHIP
INDIVIDUAL FARMER MEMBERSHIP
INDIVIDUAL COMMERCIAL MEMBERSHIP

ALL memberships have the same access to services, assistance, communications and information within BMIOA regardless of the type of membership.

HONORARY FARMER MEMBERSHIP:

The BMIOA "Honorary Farmer Membership" is FREE provided the applicant meets the requirement criteria for an Honorary Farmer Membership. To qualify for this type of membership, the Farmer must have purchased a minimum of $500 (U.S. dollars) or more in Blue Mountain Ostrich Feed products (not including shipping costs) during the previous 12 month period prior to the Application Date or Annual Application Renewal Date.

Each year, on the anniversary renewal date of the Honorary Farmer Membership, the records of Blue Mountain will be reviewed to ensure the minimum criteria has been met during the previous 12 months of business. Qualifying Honorary Farmer Members will be automatically renewed or cancelled, depending on the minimum criteria, and notified by email of same.

ONLY ONE NAME AND ONE EMAIL ADDRESS ALLOWED PER "HONORARY FARMER MEMBERSHIP" and it must coincide with the name purchasing the Blue Mountain Ostrich Feed Products.

Reminder: A portion of all profits from feed products sales, from Blue Mountain to its customers, goes to the BMIOA to assist with its Ostrich Research and Industry Services.

INDIVIDUAL FARMER MEMBERSHIP:

The "Individual Farmer Membership" is open to any Ostrich Farmer wanting to take part in the benefits of the BMIOA services, assistance, communications and information. The special introductory membership fee schedule is:

1 Year Membership = US$40
2 Years Membership = US$75
3 Years Membership = US$100

Individual Farmer Members will be notified for renewal by email 30 days before their membership expires. If renewal fee has not been received by BMIOA within 30 days of email renewal notice, the membership will be cancelled.

ONLY ONE NAME AND ONE EMAIL ADDRESS ALLOWED PER "INDIVIDUAL FARMER MEMBERSHIP".

Reminder: ALL membership fees paid by "fee paying members" go directly into the BMIOA to assist with its Ostrich Research for its membership and to provide certain Industry Services that benefit members. There are NO administration fees deducted for operating the BMIOA. Every penny goes toward progression of the industry for its membership.

INDIVIDUAL COMMERCIAL MEMBERSHIP:

The "Individual Commercial Membership" is open to any Ostrich Commercial Entity wanting to take part in the benefits of the BMIOA services, assistance, communications, information, and Connections. The annual and non-refundable fee is US$100 and renewable each year on the members anniversary date.

Individual Commercial Members will be notified for renewal by email each year on their respective anniversary date. If renewal fee has not been received by BMIOA within 30 days of email renewal notice, the membership will be cancelled.

Ostrich Veterinarians
Ostrich Consultants
Incubator Companies
Ostrich Processors
Ostrich Tanners
Ostrich Product Distributors
Ostrich Equipment Companies
Feed Mills using BM Products
Any Commercial Entity Supplying the Ostrich Industry
Any Ostrich Organization or Association

"Individual Commercial Memberships" MUST provide a company name or organization/association name on the application form.

"Individual Commercial Members" receive an added BMIOA benefit of one FREE PAGE of advertising on the BMIOA web site under the "Vendor Contact" section. This will enable ALL members to see your commercial ad and contact you for your goods and services if they so desire.
