BMIOA Research and "on farm" Studies/Trials are routinely on-going and to date have compiled much valuable information. However, there is lots of work yet to be done and new ideas for great research are coming forth all the time. Some of the future research is going to require research of the "Scientific" nature with lab costs and administration fees in order to get the research done accurately and fairly. This, of course, requires FUNDING and one of the main goals and purpose of the BMIOA organization.

Below is a "Research/Study" Status Chart that reflects what has been done so far and what yet needs to be accomplished. Here is a definition of some terms used:

Practical = On-Farm studies in an Ostrich operation environment

Scientific = Lab controlled and administered closely to Scientific Principals

Planned = Means the project is scheduled for the future and not complete

Completed = Means the project is already finished and information is available.
