This is a form to assist in determining the cost of your new complete feed using Blue Mountain Ostrich MVTM Premix and Blue Mountain formulas. It is not our policy to give out formulations or ingredient amounts except with the PURCHASE of a Blue Mountain Product. We realize you may want to know what your total feed cost will be using our products and formulas. To solve this dilema, we offer a FREE costing service. You provide the cost of your ingredients and we will calculate those costs using the actual formulas including the costs of our product.

This form is for ranchers hiring a local MILL to pellet their feed or manufacture a mash (meal) feed at the MILL without pelleting. It is also for feed mills planning to manufacture feed using a Blue Mountain Product. If you plan to grind/mix on the farm, please use a different form and go to:

CUSTOM MILL FORMULATION COSTING FORM - PART 1

Instructions: Go to your nearest Feed Mill and ask for price quotes on the following ingredients needed to make your feed. When complete, submit this form using the button at the bottom of form (be sure to include your correct email address) and we will calculate a total cost estimate and email the results back to you.

DEHYDRATED ALFALFA: The preferred quality is guaranteed at 17% protein. If not available, ask for next best alternative.

Notice: If the finished feed is to be in "mash'" form, all ingredients need to be ground to similar particle size. This includes grinding the alfalfa pellets to a meal form. Please inform your Mill of this and ask them to allow for this in the manufacturing charges.
